An Airing – En luftning

The audience is invited up on stage. They are viewing the dance close-by standing on white pieces of paper spread out in the room. The dance consists of invitations to the viewer – and gradually the line between audience and performers disappears. In the end the dancers place themselves on the seats of the audience observing the dance of the audience in a changing installation of light.

An Airing – En luftning premiered in the spring 2011 in Aarhus and Copenhagen.

The performance is sponsored by the Danish Arts Council Committee for the Performing Arts, Wilhelm Hansen Fonden and Augustinus Fonden.
